However it ends, you intend to be paid first.
You do not need to know how it ends, only when, and preferably a quarter before everyone else. You will sell the shovels, then the bunkers, then the shovels again. Whatever remains of the economy afterwards, you expect to be holding a receipt.

Given the date, you would make as much money as possible first, and nothing above that rule, from Terminator down to Bunker Builder, matched you.
On the field
Profiteer plays for itself and can sell out to either side, which it considers the whole point. Common figure, ordinary moves, excellent margins.
