How you get it
You expect to end up cleaning up after it, you expect to be useful to the machines, and you put your own odds at 50 or more, with no Terminator, Cause or Leader match above.
On the field
Hostage is a rare figure and plays for itself. Fewer of them on the field and stronger moves than the common figures, and either side can buy the debt.
